Michigan State came into the ‘Shoe and had a super-swirly administered to it by Ohio State.
In the first half, the Buckeyes started fast and furious thanks to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Kyle McCord. The second half produced a better effort from the Spartans, but that was more or less when the Scarlet and Gray foot came off the gas pedal once the outcome was no longer in doubt.
MSU interim head coach Harlon Barnett met with the media after the game and talked about what he saw from his team but also used Ohio State as an example of the gap between where his program is and where it wants to go.
We had one of our writers on hand to grab some video of Barnett’s postgame press conference and we have it for you to digest what he said about the Buckeyes. Watch and listen to Barnett talk about how good Ohio State is, the play of Marvin Harrison Jr., and more.
Now that Michigan State is headed back to East Lansing, the Buckeyes will begin preparations to host Minnesota next Saturday. We will, of course, have coverage leading up to the game on Saturday so come back often this week for plenty of analysis and opinion.
