The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0) look to continue their undefeated season this week with a trip to Baton Rouge to face the defending national champion LSU Tigers (3-4).

This is a game originally scheduled for Nov. 14, but a COVID-19 outbreak at LSU forced schedule changes and this week’s battle is purely for pride for the struggling Tigers.

LSU is coming off an ugly 20-7 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies, in which both TJ Finley and Max Johnson played under center for the Tigers. Finley started the game and struggled, while Johnson led LSU to its only touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Alabama is on a roll, having defeated Auburn 42-13 in the Iron Bowl behind quarterback Mac Jones’ five touchdown passes.
