Seahawks’ keys to victory
The Seattle Seahawks will square off against their second opponent from New York in as many weeks when they host the Jets on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks are in the middle of what should be the easiest stretch of their schedule and need to just keep tallying wins to ensure a postseason berth is in the cards this year but they can’t overlook New York like they did last week with the Giants.
The Seahawks will likely continue to lean on running back Chris Carson, who is getting more carries and a heftier workload now that he’s been eased back into the action after recovering from his foot injury. A decent run game can help to spell Wilson if he needs it.
The Seahawks defense can’t get lazy against the Jets despite New York’s dismal 0-12 record and will need to stay on their toes through four quarters of football. Speaking of Seattle’s defenders . . .
