Texas has fallen out of the AP poll for the first time since Oct. 25. Iowa State is now the highest-ranked Big 12 team after beating UT.

Texas has fallen out of the AP poll for the first time since Oct. 25.

Coming off a loss to Iowa State, the Longhorns will have a difficult time finding themselves ranked for the rest of the season.

The Cyclones jumped ahead of Oklahoma to No. 12. The Sooners had the week off after COVID-19 postponed their game against West Virginia.

Oklahoma State is the only other Big 12 team ranked. The Cowboys jumped up to No. 21 after beating Texas Tech on Saturday.

Once again, the top eight remained unchanged. Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, Texas A&M, Florida, and BYU all earned wins over the weekend. Ohio State and Cincinnati each had the week off.
