Week 12 Amway Coaches Poll: Longhorns jump ahead of Oklahoma State

Despite not playing a game this weekend, the Texas Longhorns rose in the USA TODAY Amway Coaches poll. They will take on No. 15 Iowa State.

The Texas Longhorns didn’t play over the weekend but will now start their final stretch of three games, only one of which will feature a team in the top 25. Iowa State took care of Kansas State 45-0. The Oklahoma Sooners got off to a hot start against Oklahoma State but eventually won 41-13. This week saw the Longhorns jump in the Amway Coaches Poll.

The Big 12 Conference still has four teams in the top 25 with Oklahoma at No. 14, Iowa State at No. 15, Oklahoma State falling to No. 22, and Texas coming in at No. 21.
