WATCH what Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker said about Ohio State after the game

Watch and listen to what Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker said about Ohio State after his team lost. He was impressed with the Buckeyes.

Ohio State made a statement on Saturday.

It traveled to East Lansing and took it to the Michigan State Spartans handily despite being down several starters, including most of its offensive line. With the 52-12 win, the Buckeyes improved to 5-0 and came one step closer to qualifying for the Big Ten Championship Game and a potential spot in the College Football Playoff.

For the Spartans, after beating an undefeated Northwestern team a week earlier, it was a hard pill to swallow. Head coach Mel Tucker is trying to build on what former coach Mark Dantonio did in East Lansing, but it’s clear there’s a ways to go.

After the game, Tucker met with the media to discuss what transpired and was none too happy about his team’s performance, but was quick to give praise to Ohio State.
