After a year of asking what if, and what could have been, the Ohio State football team got their redemption and got the Clemson monkey off its back. The Buckeyes had been 0-4 against the Tigers all-time, but that came to an end with a resounding 49-28 statement.
For Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, it was likely the end of a stellar career, one in which he was a great ambassador for college football. The entire sporting world would be extremely shocked if Lawrence didn’t declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
