Watch: Warriors’ Klay Thompson drills 22 consecutive 3-pointers in workout

Klay Thompson wasn’t missing in a recent workout.

After missing two seasons due to injuries, Klay Thompson made his long-awaited return to the court during the 2022-23 NBA season. After adding his fourth championship ring to his trophy case, the Golden State Warriors sharpshooting guard finally had a healthy offseason to prepare for a title defense.

With the offseason winding down and training camp nearing, Thompson looks ready to roll. The veteran shooter didn’t miss from beyond the arc in a recent offseason workout with trainer Charlie Max Torres. Thompson was red-hot from the corners, drilling 22 consecutive 3-pointers. Thompson’s jumper looks in midseason form.

After returning from two major injuries, Thompson averaged 20.4 points on 42.9% shooting from the floor and 38.5% shooting from long distance in 32 games for the Golden State Warriors.

To help the Warriors claim a spot in the NBA Finals, Thompson put together his best performance in the playoffs in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, scoring a game-high 32 points against the Dallas Mavericks with eight made 3-pointers.

To get back to the NBA Finals in the upcoming season, the Warriors will need to lean on Thompson in the backcourt with Steph Curry and Jordan Poole.
