Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers came to play tonight.
In arguably the biggest game of the college football season between No. 11 Texas and No. 3 Alabama, Ewers has shined in the first half. His teammates had drops and fumbles, but Ewers kept the accuracy going.
After Worthy dropped a touchdown in the end zone earlier in the game, he more than made up for it with a 44-yd touchdown reception in the second quarter.
Ewers, who has struggled with the deep ball recently, tossed a perfect pass to Worthy to take the lead against Alabama 10-3.
Here’s a look at the impressive throw and catch.
