WATCH: Texas football is putting in work during fall camp

A glimpse of Texas’ effort throughout fall camp.

The season is just around the corner, and the Texas football team is looking to change the narrative around the program.

The Longhorns thought success would follow after the 2019 Sugar Bowl win over Georgia, but Texas quickly slid back to its mediocre habits and was unable to replicate the success.

There is a new sheriff in town calling the shots, as Steve Sarkisian is fresh off a championship with Alabama and is looking to bring that type of success to Austin.

He and his staff have been implementing the “All Gas No Brakes” mantra since the moment they stepped on the campus, and the team has been very receptive and seems to be working harder than ever.

Starting spots are up for grabs, and opportunities that could change the trajectory of careers are in the balance. Texas’ social media department recently released a hype video of the Sarkisian’s squad putting in work to get ready for the season.

The program and fan base are expecting a solid season from this team, and there will likely be no passes given, regardless of all the changing parts. Texas will be tested Week 1 against Louisiana, and that game will be indicative of the new era.
