Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, college athletes are forced to be creative by any means to stay in football shape.
Four-star defensive lineman Vernon Broughton just needs his father and an open field. The early enrollee at Texas was rated the No. 16 overall player in the state from the 2020 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite.
Broughton will immediately compete for playing time when the green light is given to resume organized sporting events. Until then, he’s staying ready for when that time may come.
Take a peek at how Broughton is preparing for the 2020 season. It’s clear his intensity and focus are at the right level to succeed.
