If you haven’t been paying attention to the NFL this year, we’re here to tell you that former Ohio State and current Washington Football Team receiver Terry McLaurin is turning into an absolute superstar. He’s among the league leaders in several categories and he’s becoming a problem for opposing defenses with his route running, exceptional hands, and blazing speed.
And it’s not just catching passes through the air anymore. As he becomes a more dangerous weapon, the Washington coaching staff is beginning to find other ways to get the ball in his hands. It was on full display against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Watch the below video shared by The Checkdown’s Twitter account as McLaurin takes a handoff, goes around the right end and bursts through the Lions’ defense for a 27-yard explosive play.

Washington may have lost the game by three points, but it wasn’t for McLaurin’s efforts. He once again looked like the most dangerous weapon on offense for the team from our Nation’s Capital.
