Watch: Steph Curry’s son Canon presents Klay Thompson with game ball after return vs. Cavs

After tallying 17 points in 20 minutes in his comeback against the Cavs, Klay Thompson was presented with the game ball from Canon Curry.

With Klay Thompson set to make his long-awaited comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers, emotions were high on Sunday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

After a knee and Achilles injury that kept him out for over two seasons, Thompson stepped on the court with his teammates on Sunday for the first time in 941 days.

In his first game back, Thompson notched 17 points on 7-of-18 shooting from the field and 3-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. The five-time All-Star added three rebounds, an assists and a block in 20 minutes against the Cavs.

Following his emotional return to the court, Thompson earned the game-ball from the Warriors’ 96-82 win over the Cavs on Sunday. In Golden State’s locker room, Thompson was given the ball from a special presenter.

Steph Curry’s young son Canon was the one to hand Thompson the game ball after his long-awaited return to the court.
