You of course know Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is one whale of a football coach. He’s already led the Buckeyes to College Football Playoff appearances in his first two seasons, each year progressing a little further. A national title has so far alluded him, but the OSU program appears to be in great hands with the recruiting, culture, and leadership Day has shown.

What you may have not known is that Day was a pretty good basketball player in high school. If you don’t believe us, all you have to do is get a look at some 3-point bombs he splashed in a Massachusetts high school state championship game 25 years ago. His team ended up winning the title, and it looks like Day had a significant role in all the championship shenanigans.

Watch below as the current OSU head man steps into a couple of 3-pointers with confidence and swagger way back in the day.

This is extremely good throwback stuff and the content we didn’t even know we needed during these global pandemic times. As Bill Raftery would say “Onions!”
