That’s how you get past a demoralizing loss.
Ohio State hosted the Tennessee Volunteers in a first-round College Football Playoff matchup on Saturday night in the ‘Shoe and made a huge statement that it’s not done yet with a dominant 42-17 win. OSU was a preseason favorite to win the national title but missed out on two of its biggest goals of beating Michigan and winning the Big Ten. However, the opportunity to win the CFP national championship is still there.
OSU head coach Ryan Day met with the media after the game to discuss what he saw from his team and was more than pleased by what he saw on the banks of the Olentangy Saturday night.
In case you missed any of what Day said, we have the entire press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube Channel. Watch and listen to what the man wearing the headset said by pushing that play button below. In it, Day discusses his team’s ability to bounce back, the aggressive nature of the gameplan and play calling, his team’s execution, and more.
Ohio State will now turn the page and prepare to take on Oregon out in the Rose Bowl on January 1. We’ll have plenty leading up to that game as the week and a half or so passes by.
