Sometimes you just have to give the opponent due credit.
Look, Rutgers isn’t going to get back into this game, but at least head coach Greg Schiano is throwing everything and several kitchen sinks into the game plan. One of those was a little trickeration broken out at just the right time.
The Scarlet Knights found themselves deep in Buckeye territory, and on first and goal from the four-yard line, Rutgers snuck offensive lineman Raiqwon O’Neal on the edge as an eligible receiver. However, it went undetected by the Ohio State defense. The result? A four-yard buffet eater touchdown.
Click on the below and watch the Scarlet Knights coaching staff get the best of the Buckeye brain trust, at least in this situation.
Rutgers with a little trickeration, throwing a TD pass against the grain to the O-lineman. Pretty creative play call and design. Tip your cap. OSU still leads 35-9. #GoBucks #OSUvsRUTG https://t.co/hyAw8GEDog

Again, nothing but the tip of the cap on this one. The score may be out of hand, but at least the team from Piscataway, New Jersey is still putting up the good fight.
