In order for the Washington Redskins to make a giant leap in performance on the field this season, they’ll need second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins to make the most of his opportunities and become the face of the franchise.
At Ohio State, Haskins showed poise, solid read-progressions, and a big arm on his way to becoming a Heisman finalist. However, during his rookie campaign, he had to bide his time as a backup, then started to show signs of progress before injuring his ankle.
Now it’s time to show up. Haskins will most likely get the first crack at the starting job, and if he can make it his own and develop into the type of talent the Redskins hoped when they drafted him as the No. 15 overall pick, then Washington could be a surprise team this NFL season.
On that note, watch as Haskins shows off his arm strength and accuracy as he deposits a deep ball to Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy while getting in some workouts. The video is courtesy of B/R Gridiron as found and reported by Redskins Wire.

If you are a Redskins fan, or just a fan of a former Ohio State quarterback, it should be fun and exciting to see just how far Haskins has come in 2020.
