WATCH: Mike Vrabel calls Ohio State and Titans’ fan during COVID-19 crisis

Tennessee Titans head coach and Ohio State alum Mike Vrabel called an 84-year old Titans and Buckeye fan to offer encouragement.

We’ve seen many inspirational things as of late as everyone around the country and the world continue to come to grips with the spread of the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. From messages of encouragement to neighbors and friends offering support to those in need, it makes you believe in humanity just a little more.

Count Ohio State alum and current Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel as a believer in the movement of brightening others’ day. He no doubt has a little more time on his hands with social distancing and all, but he’s also likely still getting ready for the 2020 NFL draft that is still on as of this moment.

Despite it all, Vrabel took time out of his day to call an 84-year old Buckeye and Titans’ fan to check in on him while he stays in to keep safe from the spread of the coronavirus. The die-hard fan had also lost his wife last fall and was no doubt in need of a pick me up.

Watch the phone call in its entirety thanks to the official Twitter profile of the Tennessee Titans.

Atta boy Vrabes. I don’t care who you are, this type of genuine concern for another is exactly what we need during these difficult times.
