Some guys get it. Michael Thomas would be one of those guys.
It would be easy to rest on what he’s accomplished since coming into the NFL. They guy has worked his tail off to become the most feared wide-receiver in the league today after a very good, but not great career at Ohio State.
I mean, just this weekend, he set the all-time single-season NFL receptions record. And if you were someone that thought Thomas would blow up as he has in the NFL after his career at Ohio State, then you’re not being entirely truthful.
But credit to Thomas for making himself into what he is today. It hasn’t changed his mindset though. As much of a superstar as he’s become, he’s still taking time out in the community for outreach, remembering where he came from, and giving back.
Watch as Thomas visits Oschner Health hospital in New Orleans to hand out gifts and visit with patients. The video is courtesy of the Saints official Twitter page.

This has to make you proud to be a Buckeye. It’s not all about the on-the-field success, but who you are as a person off of it as well. Thomas appears to be a superstar in both arenas.
