Georgia Bulldogs walk-on wide receiver Mekhi Mews is looking to expand his role for the Dawgs in 2023. Mews already has a large role on special teams as the team’s kick returner and punt returner.
However, Mews is showing he is more than just a special team standout. He gave Georgia its most explosive play of the night against UT Martin.

Mews did an excellent job of being patient on the screen pass and allowed his blockers to set things up for him. The walk-on receiver used his quickness and speed to score a key touchdown. Mews’ score gave Georgia a 24-0 lead.
