WATCH: Justin Fields back at the Woody taking in Ohio State spring practice

Ohio State QB Justin Fields might be prepping for the upcoming NFL draft, but he took some time to take in the Buckeyes’ spring workouts.

Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields is prepping for the upcoming 2021 NFL draft, but that doesn’t mean he forgets what program made him a star when he hit the eject button from the Georgia Bulldog one that seemed to think Jake Fromm was the better option.

The Buckeyes started their spring practice on Friday, and it didn’t take long for Fields to find his way back to the banks of the Olentangy according to a post from the Ohio State Football Twitter account.

“What’s good, Buckeye Nation? We back in the building,” Fields said while holding the camera. “Great day to be great today, man. Great day to be great. Let’s do it — Yes sir,”

Fields came to Ohio State during the offseason of 2018 and quickly acclimated himself, earning the starting spot the next two seasons. He was a Heisman finalist in 2019 and led the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff both years, finishing just shy of a national title last season, losing to Alabama in Miami.

He’ll always be a Buckeye despite his original roots in Georgia, and we can’t wait to see what he does in the NFL.
