During the offseason, John Lynch and the San Francisco 49ers broke out the checkbook for their defensive line with the addition of Javon Hargrave via free agency.
Through three weeks of the season, Hargrave is proving he’s worth every penny. With one sack already on his books from the season opener in Pittsburgh, Hargrave got on the board again in a clutch moment for the 49ers.
With the Giants facing a third and short, the former Philadelphia Eagle ripped through the interior of New York’s offensive line for a sack on Daniel Jones. After the sack, the Giants were forced to punt the football. On the next possession, the 49ers punched in a touchdown on offense.
