2020 four-star signee Ja’Quinden Jackson ended his high school career in an unusual way, not playing in the final game of the season. Playing for Duncanville High School in the 6A-DI playoff semi-finals against Rockwall, Jackson partially tore his ACL.
After doctors thought he completely tore it, Jackson’s chance of contributing to the team in 2020 significantly shot up after the news of a partial tear.
Now in the stages of rehabbing, a Twitter video has been released of Jackson on his feet and moving.

Before the injury, the quarterback put up outstanding numbers his senior year. Jackson threw for 1,711 yards with a 61% completion rate, while also having 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Where he really is a threat is on the ground, having 1,030 yards on 93 carries and 16 touchdowns.
With Sam Ehlinger entering his senior season, Jackson will be in the race to replace the three-year starter. Competing against Hudson Card and Casey Thompson, if Jackson is healthy, his dual-threat mobility could win him the job.
