WATCH: IndyCar helps Ohio State make incredible entrance into Indianapolis

Ohio State made a splashy entrance as it arrived in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship against Wisconsin.

Ohio State knows how to make an entrance. And that doesn’t mean heading on to the field. The Buckeyes had the perfect escort into Indianapolis as they arrived on buses for the Big Ten championship game Saturday.

Check it out as Ohio State was led into Indy Friday by an IndyCar!

Series driver Graham Rahal has already paid tribute to the Buckeyes during a race in 2015, wearing this fantastic helmet.

Rahal had this to say then:

“It is beyond awesome,” Rahal said of the helmet.

It was done by designer Austin Polen with an assist from Ohio State football director of player personnel Mark Pantoni, who provided facsimiles of the decals, such as the Buckeyes leaves and color schemes.

“I had this concept that, with Ohio State having won the national championship and us being in the championship battle here, it would be fun to come home and do something I haven’t done before,” Rahal said. “This thing, it is very accurate.”

The helmet bears the No. 15, a reference to Rahal’s car number and also the jersey number of standout running back Ezekiel Elliott.
