I imagine that lining up against Zion Williamson on a basketball court must be absolutely terrifying. Even high school Zion.
It feels like dude has been 6’8, 285 since birth. I have never NOT seen him dunking all up and down a basketball court and just straight up moving dudes out of the way like they were his nerdy little brothers.
That’s why the video of this eager beaver getting himself ready to guard Zion is so incredibly confusing to me. It seems like this kid wanted these problems all those years ago.
He’s literally walking up to Williamson — while only coming to his shoulder — and clapping in his face trying to guard him.
Friend just sent me this clip of Zion hooping in high school and it's exactly the type of content we all need right now pic.twitter.com/j4bojegLLQ

Williamson, of course, IMMEDIATELY draws a foul with absolutely no effort at all.
My mind was going every which way watching this thing. At first, I’m like “Okay, respect. This kid is up for a challenge and you’ve got to love that.”
And then I looked at the height difference riiiiight aboooout here:
And immediately decided that this kid might be in a bit of trouble. When Zion gave him the “Who’s mans?” look, it was a wrap.
In doing a bit of research on the team that Williamson was playing against, I realized that this was Greenwood Christian. I also realized that Williamson had a game against Greenwood Christian where he scored 45 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in an 87-15 win over the Knights..
If that’s the same game? Hoo boy, this shows us a bit of what it’s like to get on Zion’s bad side. Pro-tip: Don’t do it if you want to win the game.
