Former Ohio State and current Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman DaVon Hamilton had a welcome to the NFL moment on Sunday when he got his first career sack. And it wasn’t just any sack against any quarterback, it was on the Green Bay Packers’ future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Hamilton was taken by the Jaguars in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft as the No. 73 overall pick and has elbowed his way into some meaningful time with a struggling Jacksonville team.
In case you missed it, you can watch Hamilton’s moment in the sun below by clicking on the Tweet from the Pro Football Focus Twitter account. In it, Hamilton stunts to the inside and comes through the line unblocked and unabated to Rodgers, and is able to contain and wrap up the quarterback with his long reach.
