Former Ohio State and current Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is a big fan of movies apparently. He was cornered for a quick interview recently to discuss his varying movie tastes and touched on a few genres.
Even though he appreciates the Star Wars films, he wasn’t necessarily that big of a fan of the latest installments in the widely popular franchise. In fact, he appreciated J.J. Abrams coming back to help out but said that what they’ve done with the last couple was beyond repair.
It’s not just Star Wars, he was also asked about his favorite football movie, and in a surprising answer, he picked the Waterboy starring Adam Sandler. Comedy is apparently where it’s at because he knows too much about football for the really serious football movies to seem very realistic to him.

Let’s hope Bosa can either can both go to a theater real soon and get back among his teammates to begin putting together another season of wreaking havoc on NFL quarterbacks. Stay safe, and let’s hope were rounding the corner on this pandemic.
