Take a look back at a few of the most thrilling yet unexpected trick plays in Texas football history.

Greg Daniels – Iowa State – 2012

This particular play was a tribute to Darrell Royal who passed away earlier that week. Texas lined up out of the wishbone offense which was primarily used for a heavy rushing attack in which Royal loved. Texas put a new spin on the trick play by pitching the ball to wide receiver Jaxon Shipley, who threw it back to quarterback David Ash. Ash ending up finding Greg Daniels downfield for 47 yards.
