WATCH: Ezekiel Elliott plays golf, conducts interview while playing with boxer Canelo Alvarez

Former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott played a round of golf with boxer Canelo Alvarez. Queue up the dialogue.

If you are an Ohio State fan, there’s a good chance you not only follow the Buckeyes but get your interest peaked with other sports as well. One of those sports might be boxing.

And if so, then you know there’s a pretty big boxing match on hand this weekend with Canelo Alvarez taking on Billy Joe Saunders. Alvarez is known as the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet right now, and he’s the current unified super middleweight world champion. His titles will be on the line Sunday at AT&T Stadium, as will Saunders’ WBO 168-pound belt.

It’s the next step on a quest to become the first-ever undisputed world super middleweight champion. All that would be left is a booking and win over IBF Champion Caleb Plant later down the road to accomplish the feat.

But before all of that, Alvarez took some time to play a round of golf with another person familiar with AT&T Stadium, former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. After a brief introduction, the two kicked off a 9-hole round with the loser of each hole having to answer a couple of interview questions.

We won’t spoil all the fun, but let’s just say that Alvarez’s golf game appears to be quite a bit better than Elliott’s because Zeke was full of answers to several interview questions.

Included in some of the highlights of some good and not-so-good golf, were answers Elliott provided to what colors he hates to see on the gridiron, if there’s anything nice he can say about the city of Philadelphia, and what the hardest place to play in the NFL is.

Take a look at the eight-minute “The King vs. The Cowboy” YouTube video for yourself to see Elliott’s answers and to get to see the two interact at Del Mar Country Club in Santa Fe, California.

I love when sports celebrities from different worlds collide, especially ones that are considered amount the best in their profession. These two definitely have pretty good chemistry, and it should be some good entertainment to watch a high-stakes boxing match this weekend.
