The Ohio State Buckeyes, on both sides of the ball, are on a mission to prove they are the best team in the country, especially after that late-season loss to the Michigan Wolverines.
They are now up 14-0 on the No. 1 Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl from Pasadena, CA.
After Jeremiah Smith opened up the scoring just a minute into the game, Emeka Egbuka doubled the Buckeyes lead with a 42-yard touchdown that was more exciting than Smith’s 45-yard screen touchdown. Egbuka scored with 7:31 remaining in the first quarter.
That said, below is the touchdown that Eguka hauled in, partially due to how much coverage and attention is being paid to Smith.

QB Will Howard has been on fire to start the game, having thrown for 165 yards through his first nine attempts. Six of those attempts have been caught, and Smith has been the main recipient of those for 86 yards and a score.
Gee Scott Jr. has 30 of those with his one reception, and Egubka has 49 of those for the other two catches. While the Buckeyes haven’t gotten much going on the ground, there doesn’t seem to be much concern right now.
