Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. In [autotag]Dylan Crews[/autotag]’ case, he is both. The former [autotag]Golden Spikes Award[/autotag] winner and star LSU outfielder secured a win for the [autotag]Rochester Red Wings[/autotag] on Tuesday night with a walk-off E6.
An E6, if you do not know, is an error on the shortstop. On this play, the shortstop attempts to flip the ball to second base for out No. 3 and to get Lehigh Valley out of the inning but his throw was off the mark and the errant throw led to a runner scoring to win the game for the Red Wings.
Crews has played in 24 games for the Red Wings and has five doubles, four homers, and 14 RBI and has a batting average of .257. He is one step away from playing in the major leagues. His next stop would be the [autotag]Washington Nationals[/autotag], who could use a good outfielder right now.
