Watch Dicker the Kicker one last time at the collegiate level

One last chance for Cameron Dicker on Saturday

For the final time before moving on to the NFL next season, Texas Longhorns kicker Cameron Dicker will take the field with his UT helmet.

The senior placekicker and punter joined cornerback Josh Thompson on the Senior Bowl rosters this week in Mobile, Alabama, for the week-long event. Their final on-field opportunities to impress NFL coaching staffs. The New York Jets and Detroit Lions were the teams selected for this year’s event.

The next step for both Longhorns on the roster will be the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before we get to the combine, there is the Senior Bowl game on Saturday afternoon. At 1:30 p.m. CT on NFL Network, fans can watch the two former Longhorns go to work.

Dicker had some memorable moments as a Longhorn. Perhaps none bigger than that October afternoon at Cotton Bowl Stadium on the Texas State Fairgrounds. On that day he cemented his legacy in the eyes of the Texas faithful. Following that huge kick in 2018, Fox play-by-play analyst Gus Johnson proclaimed the nickname, Dicker The Kicker.
