WATCH: Desmond Howard reacts to Jack Nicklaus picking Wisconsin over Michigan

In a classic moment of ESPN’ College GameDay, former Michigan player Desmond Howard reacts to Jack Nicklaus picking Wisconsin over Michigan.

It’s Saturday in the fall, and that means there was another get together of the college football minds on ESPN known as College GameDay. Everyone’s favorite Ohio State ambassador, Kirk Herbstreit, and his fellow GameDay mates, Michigan man Desmond Howard, Lee Corso, and Rece Davis got together to provide their picks on the biggest games of the day as usual.

And if you’ve watched the show enough, you know that they’ve instituted celebrity pickers over the last few years. This time they paid homage to The Masters Tournament that is currently being played by bringing former Ohio State golfer and PGA legend Jack Nicklaus on as one of the celebrities.

The punchline there is that the team asked Nicklaus to pick the winner of Michigan and Wisconsin. Yeah, you know where this is headed.

“Well, I’m sorry Desmond (Howard), but, I’m a Buckeye, I gotta go with Wisconsin,” Nicklaus said.

It was all said in front of one of the biggest Michigan homers in the history of Michigan homers in Howard, so you kind of expected a response that would throw a little Maize and Blue back at Nicklaus. However, you might be surprised how the former Heisman winner reacted to the prediction.

Watch Howard shock everyone on the set by what he does in response. Then watch how another Buckeye, Herbstreit, reacts to what Howard says.

Yes Michigan, that’s where things are at. Even a guy that picks against the grain in the Wolverines’ favor without fail can’t even bring himself to do it anymore.
