WATCH: Daron Payne attempts to drive a golf ball at the Pro Bowl Games

It’s a good thing Payne is so dominant on the football field.

Daron Payne was one of five Washington Commanders named to the Pro Bowl. Payne was also one of three Commanders making his first Pro Bowl appearance. Payne, Terry McLaurin and Jeremy Reaves are all enjoying Pro Bowl festivities this week.

McLaurin and Payne took part in tossing water balloons as a part of the Pro Bowl Games. McLaurin made the catch of the night on Thursday, while Payne busted one in his opportunity. As the announcers noted, Payne caught the water balloon, just like he plays, “nasty and physical.”

In addition to participating in the water balloon toss, Payne participated in the “Longest Drive” competition. He was one of three Commanders on Team NFC, along with Allen and Way, joining Za’Darius Smith and T.J. Hockenson of the Minnesota Vikings.

How did Payne perform?

Judge for yourself:

Payne said before leaving for Las Vegas and the Pro Bowl Games, he turned to YouTube to learn how to drive a golf ball.

The AFC won this competition.

Payne may want to stick to dominating offensive linemen, something that is expected to make him a very wealthy man soon. After establishing a new career high in sacks and tackles for loss in 2022, Payne is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in March.
