Watch: Cleveland Browns’ bettors take mind-blowing bad beat

A 45-42 lead became a 47-42 final on the last play of the game and it cost people who wagered on the Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns fans and backers knew the loss was the worst that could happen, right. They trailed 45-42 Monday after Justin Tucker’s field goal for the Baltimore Ravens.

At least they had a push with two seconds left because the Browns were getting three points coming into the game.

So, a loss on the field and a push when it came to bets, right?

Wrong. Dead, freaking wrong.

In what has to be the cruelest betting loss in forever, the Cleveland Browns attempted the hook-and-lateral and lateral and lateral and lateral and the ball kept in the wrong direction.

Cleveland kept throwing backward passes, laterals, whatever. And then the people who had the three points and the home team suddenly had their hearts in their throats.

It wouldn’t happen. It shouldn’t happen. Oh, yeah, it did.

The laterals wound up going out the back of the end zone and suddenly, a 45-42 final score turned into Baltimore 47, Cleveland 42.
