The Kansas City Chiefs scored their first points against the Buffalo Bills when running back Jerick McKinnon rushed for a touchdown late in the second quarter of the highly anticipated Week 14 matchup.
After a frustrating start for their offense, Kansas City was finally able to get into scoring position after rookie defensive back Chamarri Conner intercepted Josh Allen. Patrick Mahomes methodically marched the Chiefs downfield to get near the goal line and handed the ball off to Jerick McKinnon who punched it in for six points.

While this play got Kansas City on the board, there remains plenty of work for the Chiefs to do if they intend to win this game at the end of regulation. Buffalo will receive the kickoff to start the second half, so a strong showing in the third and fourth quarters will be necessary for Kansas City to complete an improbable comeback at Arrowhead Stadium.
