It’s nothing new, but you still have to marvel at the brut strength and power of former Ohio State and current Los Angeles Charger defensive end Joey Bosa.
We shouldn’t take away from his sneaky fast edge rushing, but he earns his paycheck more for the ability to fight through blocks and power his way into the backfield. So it was on Sunday again, this time against the Carolina Panthers.
Watch below as Bosa gets off the ball with explosiveness, bulls his way through left tackle Chris Scott, hammers through what could have been considered a holding penalty, and makes his way to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater for a sack.

Bosa just keeps getting better and better with no signs of slowing down. He now has three sacks and eleven total tackles on the young season. This won’t be the last highlight we share of the elder Bosa over the course of this season and many to come.
