Watch: British musician Sam Harrop nails Bryson-caddie breakup with pitch-perfect parody

This U.K.-based songwriter turns golf’s social news into song, with this week’s tribute to Bryson DeChambeau a worthy brain worm.

Ready for today’s brain worm, courtesy of one of the most clever and golf-obsessed musicians on the internet? Sam Harrop is your guy, and his tribute to Brooks DeChambeau splitting with caddie Tim Tucker is better than any Brooks Koepka meme.

The U.K.-based Harrop has gathered a slew of followers on YouTube, where he often posts videos that turn well-known pop songs into on-the-mark golf commentary.

Wish Tony Finau would win more on the PGA Tour? Harrop is with you, remixing REO Speedwagon’s “I Can’t Fight this Feeling.” Want to see Anthony Kim make a comeback? Harrop has covered that too, to the tune of Take That’s “Back for Good.”

This week’s take on golf’s Mad Scientist is set to Coldplay’s “The Scientist.” Don’t take our word for it, just watch.

Harrop has drawn tens of thousands of views to some of his parodies on YouTube, and the video above isn’t the first time DeChambeau has been the subject. Everything from Koepka’s eyeroll to Bryson’s pumped-up physique have inspired Harrop to sit down at the piano in his living room and revamp a set of lyrics.
