I have to admit. I saw the Big Ten Network share this video, but with everything going on at Ohio State and college football in general, just had an opportunity to watch it. And yeah, it’s pretty sentimental and solemn and I suggest you watch it too.
In it, several stadiums and traditions are shown as a tribute to fall in the Midwest. Football has been a part of the very fabric of this part of the country for 125 years, and a big part of everyone’s lives reading this. None of know what it’s like to not be able to turn the television on in September through November and see college football. To be without out it as the weather turns and the calendar flips is going to be something awfully difficult to grapple with.
It might just be a game, but it’s much more to many. No matter how you feel about the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s no doubt that missing Big Ten football in the fall is something we can all agree isn’t ideal.
Click on the below and get a look at the tribute to what looks like will be a fall without football in the heartland thanks to the Big Ten Network.
We'll miss you, @B1GFootball.
Until we meet again. ❤️️ pic.twitter.com/DBDnJTktKX
