WATCH: Best of Peyton and Eli on ‘Monday Night Football’ in Week 7

Hiring Peyton and Eli Manning to call ‘Monday Night Football’ games was one of the best decisions ESPN ever made!

After a three-week break, Peyton and Eli Manning returned to ESPN2 in Week 7 for an alternate broadcast of a “Monday Night Football” showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints on Oct. 25.

The Saints won the game 13-10, but we were primarily interested in the commentary (and comedy) provided by the Manning brothers. Their best moments from the broadcast can be seen in the above video, courtesy of the NFL (if the video doesn’t play here, you can watch it on YouTube).

Before returning to “MNF” duty, Eli had a busy weekend in Mississippi. The two-time Super Bowl champion had his No. 10 jersey retired at Ole Miss on Saturday and he watched his alma mater defeat LSU 31-17.

Peyton, meanwhile, has been linked to the Denver Broncos as a potential candidate to become a future co-owner of the franchise. Denver’s ownership situation is likely still months away from a resolution.

Elsewhere in the Manning family, Arch — Peyton and Eli’s nephew — turned heads with a 68-yard touchdown run in a high school football game on Friday. The Mannings truly are America’s Football Family.
