Texas’ football team is oozing potential ahead of the 2023 season, and there are stars all over the field.
One player many fans are high on is Arkansas safety transfer Jalen Catalon. During his time in Fayetteville, Catalon earned all kinds of honors but injuries constantly prevented him from being on the field.
In four years at Arkansas he has played 18 games, but it is evident when he is healthy that he is a star in the making. Texas fans received a glimpse of that recently when he made a diving interception on an errant throw by Quinn Ewers.

Catalon is expected to start for Texas and help lead what is one of the more experienced secondaries in the country. While at Arkansas, he recorded 159 total tackles, five interceptions and nine pass deflections.
