WATCH: Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa holds virtual Pro Day

Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa held a virtual Pro Day on Thursday to send out to NFL teams looking to draft him later this month.

The evaluation process for NFL teams has been difficult during the coronavirus outbreak, but that hasn’t stopped prospective players from getting film out to franchises.

In fact, former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa held a virtual Pro Day on Thursday to show teams that he’s back to being the same mobile, accurate passer he was prior to a season-ending hip injury in 2019.

And after hearing or reading about the news of Tagovailoa’s workout, most (if not all) of it was released on Friday by ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.

When watching the private event, it’s evident that Tagovailoa is back to 100 percent like he claims. And while people will point to him throwing against air, the former Heisman runner up looked as good as he possibly could have given the circumstances.

Accuracy, touch and pinpoint ball placement have always been staples for Tagovailoa’s game, and all of those were on full display during the virtual Pro Day.

There are rumors circulating that the Honolulu (Hawaii) native could see a draft day fall due to an extensive list of injuries during his career at Alabama, but it’s still hard to imagine a scenario where he’s available outside the top 5-10 picks.

Will a team trade up for him at No. 2 or 3? Could the Dolphins at No. 5 or Chargers at No. 6 secure his services? Those are questions that will be answered in the near future.
