Ohio State football fans no doubt already have a soft spot for 4-star cornerback Aaron Scott after he committed to the Buckeyes over archrival Michigan on Sunday. Not only did the Springfield, Ohio, native stay in-state instead of going to Ann Arbor in exile, he trolled the Wolverines pretty hard during his live stream announcement.
Scott had three hats and backpacks set up, one each for his three finalists, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oregon. The Ducks were pretty quickly picked up and set aside, leaving the two old rivals to choose between. Scott then picked up the Buckeyes gear and also put it aside making everyone think that he’d be picking to wear Maize and Blue.
However, the trick was on Jim Harbaugh and company because Scott opened up the ugliest backpack you’ll ever see and pulled out an Ohio State jersey. He then slipped it on signaling that he was going to be wearing Scarlet and Gray for the next few years.
It’s worth a watch in case you missed it.

I not only love the creativity of this reveal, but also the big smile on dad’s face who is a huge, lifelong Ohio State fan. Classic.
