Von Miller is back: Bills activate pass rusher from PUP list

Von Miller is back: #Bills activate pass rusher from PUP list:

Turns out, sometimes the optimism in Von Miller comes true.

The Buffalo Bills (3-1) have announced that Miller has been removed from the team’s PUP list. He’s officially set to play in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2):

Originally sustaining a knee injury during the 2022 season, the 34-year-old had been hopeful to be ready by the start of this year.

Miller claimed he was cleared for contact by doctors prior to the start of the season. However, the Bills opted to keep him on the PUP list for the first four weeks of the year.

Earlier this week, Miller predicted that a “betting man” should wager on him playing on Sunday. The team remained mum on the subject until now by activating him to the 53-man roster on Saturday afternoon.

In a corresponding move, cornerback Tre’Davious was placed on injured reserve.

Kickoff for Bills and Jaguars, with Miller included, is slated for 9:30 a.m.
