Tennessee’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will host Market Square Madness Oct. 13.
The preseason fan event will begin at 7 p.m. EDT on Market Square, which is located approximately 1.5 miles from campus.
Market Square Madness will allow fans a chance to mingle, receive autographs and take photos with Smokey and Tennessee’s spirit squads.
The event will also feature face painting stations and on-court competitions. Former Tennessee quarterback Sterling Henton will serve as disc jockey for the event.
He will introduce Tennessee’s 2022-23 men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The event will conclude with a fireworks show at 9 p.m. EDT.
Admission for Market Square Madness is free and fans are encouraged to park in the Market Square garage, State Street garage or Locust Street garage.
Parking in these facilities will be free after 7 p.m. EDT.
