Virginia’s Hunter, Jerome, Guy to live-tweet 2019 NCAA Championship

The trio of players will share their thoughts and comments during the upcoming re-airing of the Cavaliers’ 2019 NCAA Championship victory.

CBS Sports announced on Thursday that they will re-air nine classic NCAA Tournament games beginning on Saturday, including the 2019 NCAA Championship Game between Virginia and Texas Tech.

The network will rebroadcast three games each on Saturday and Sunday with the game between the Cavaliers and Red Raiders set to air on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

Virginia announced on Friday that De’Andre Hunter, Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy will live-tweet during the rebroadcast of the Cavaliers’ win to share their thoughts and comments during the game.

The trio led the Cavaliers to the overtime victory as Guy was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2019 NCAA Final Four while each player was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The 2020 NCAA Tournament was scheduled to begin on Thursday but was canceled last week due to the coronavirus pandemic. The NCAA has since canceled all remaining winter and spring championships.

Each Cavaliers player was selected in the 2019 NBA Draft.
