Vikings WR Jordan Addison returns to practice following ankle injury

The Vikings got their No. 2 receiver back on the practice field.

The Vikings will play their first game of the season in five days but fans aren’t exactly sure what the offense is going to look like when they head to New York. Star receiver Jordan Addison hasn’t been practicing since hurting his ankle in the middle of August.

But Minnesota got some good news recently when Addison was spotted practicing on Monday. According to reporter Judd Zulgad, he believes Addison does have a chance to play this Sunday. While the Addison news is great, it wasn’t all sunny news.

Presumed wide receiver three, Jalen Nailor, was not practicing. He was on the side of the field with an undisclosed injury. The former Michigan State receiver had a big preseason and is on the verge of breaking out for the Vikings. With tight end TJ Hockenson injured and not playing, Nailor can stamp his name on the offense.

Hopefully, Minnesota will have both Addison and Nailor available for Sam Darnold on Sunday.
