USA Academy press release:

USA Academy hires Kenyatta Watson, former Director of Football at Grayson High School (GA), as the Director of Football Operations. This is a shockwave that will rock high school athletics across the country as for the first time, the legendary Coach Rush Propst will be side by side with one of the greatest personnel assets in high school football history.

Watson, a graduate of Boston College has had quite a positive impact on student-athletes. Two of these positive impacts were as director/founder of Freshman 50 and also as the director/founder of True19. You may remember the Freshman50 which was the event where the Top 50 Football Freshman in Georgia visited UGA for Freshman Day for the first time in history. True19 was also a huge success where Watson gathered Georgia’s best high school football student-athletes to take on Texas’s best high school football student-athletes.

Watson is coming off a historic 2019, where he helped 374 student-athletes, which included breaking a national record with 40 student-athletes from Grayson High School alone signing scholarships to play football at the next level. 24 of the 40 student-athletes signed Division 1 scholarships with the remaining players signing scholarships with Division 2, 3, and other JUCO programs from across the Country.

Watson will start his position immediately and is sure to make a heavy impact for USA Academy.
