Terrance Ferguson and Abdel Nader out Monday vs. Rockets

Per Joe Mussatto, Ferguson is out due to personal reasons while Nader will miss his fourth straight game with an ankle sprain.

Oklahoma City will once again be without Terrance Ferguson and Abdel Nader.

Both Ferguson and Nader missed Saturday night’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Ferguson with an illness and Nader with an ankle sprain. Ferguson’s symptoms also kept him out of the second half of Friday night’s loss to the Heat.

Though Ferguson will be out on Monday as well, according to Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman, his absence is due to personal reasons.

Ferguson is averaging 5.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game. Though not known for his point production, Ferguson has maintained his spot in the starting lineup due to his defensive ability.

Nader has not played since he suffered an ankle injury during the first half of Oklahoma City’s win over the Timberwolves on Jan. 13. He left the game and did not return. Monday’s game against the Rockets will be the fourth consecutive game that he has missed.

No additional information has been given about how he suffered the ankle sprain or a timetable for his return.

Tip-off between the Thunder and the Rockets is at 4 p.m. CT in Houston.
