Much like the days leading up to the Sugar Bowl matchup against Clemson, most are giving Ohio State very little chance at beating mighty Alabama. There are some unanswered questions heading into the game on Monday night, most specifically Justin Fields’ health along with how many players OSU could be missing due to COVID-19.

Even with unknowns, Urban Meyer believes Ohio State is getting hot at the right time. Not only does Meyer believe the Buckeyes can go toe to toe with the Tide offensively, he sees the OSU defense being able to get more stops than Alabama. Ultimately, it’s the defensive advantage that Meyer feels will bring Ohio State its ninth national championship.

Meyer joined the rest of his colleagues from the Fox Big Noon Kick to give their predictions. The former Ohio State head coach wasn’t the only one to pick the OSU. Reggie Bush jumped on the Buckeye bandwagon as well.

Meyer is one of the best in the business in analyzing teams and giving insight. Here’s hoping he’s correct one more time.
